For the Radisson we recommend Branson, MO. Their Veterans Cafe has THOUSANDS of photos from past military service of common and decorated folk, and includes amazing stories of young "boys" that served via fraudalent enlistment (some were punished, some were decorated).
For the Country Inn & Suites we strongly recommend Fitchburg, WI (between Verona and Madison, WI) with its great breakfasts, hot tub for adults next to their childrens indoor water park, and close proximity to the 150 year old Quivey's Grove restaurant (stone barn and stone house with underground passageways).
